Professional Property Management with Gifford Management Group (GMG) will enable you to achieve your goals of property performance and profitability for all your rental and investment properties. For over 50 years Owners from south side Hampton Roads and across the country as well as throughout the world have entrusted us with their properties.

This is how our property management system works:

With a call from you we will schedule an in office or at the property free consultation. At this time we will be happy to answer any questions you may have concerning how we will manage your property. Should you decide to have us manage your property we will first do a market analysis to determine how much homes similar to yours have been renting for recently and advise you on a market value.
We do an annual inspection of your property and a thorough move out inspection each time the property is vacated.
Another important function of our management is acquiring the right tenant for you. We carefully screen all our applicants for credit history and previous rental history. Should they meet our qualifications the security deposit we hold from them is equal to a months rent. Should there be a deviation from this we would discuss it with you.
Keeping you informed is a priority to us. We strive to make the process of renting your property as simple on you as possible. Your monthly proceeds will be delivered by direct deposit to your bank around the 20th of each month. Our office works with independent vendors/contractors who must have their own workman’s compensation and liability insurance. Thus we can have them paid for you. If you would want to use your own contractors, we are happy to discuss this option with you.

A paper copy of our available listings can also be picked up inside or outside our office daily. We are centrally located in Norfolk and have been in the Property Management Business for over 50 years. We have both a large walk in business as well as referrals from previous tenants, and returning tenants. We believe that all of this is a major asset to you in renting your property.
